virtual gallery / designer
FEBRUARY 2021
Cayse Cheatham is a friend and mentor who has long expressed a need for a virtual portfolio to showcase his work, especially since he had an upcoming solo exhibition at The End Project Space. While I never got around to building his portfolio before the exhibition went up, I went to visit the space myself, took pictures and notes, and crafted this webpage for his birthday. The following page displays the artwork in the exhibition, artist and artwork information, and methods of contacting the artist and the space for more information.

Jan 30 - March 4, 2021
V. Cayse Cheatham was born in west Texas but grew up in Dallas. His earliest memories are of drawing and JFK being shot. Cayse received a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and an MFA from Yale University. Before moving to Atlanta, he lived in New York City where he worked as a preporator and art handler at Pace Wildenstein Gallery. For nine years he worked as a studio assistant and then studio manager for the artist Chuck Close. This is his first solo exhibition.
